With the aim of monitoring the implementation of Law No.21/2009 "Law for the Employment of Non-Resident Workers" and relevant by-laws, the Executive Committee of the Standing Committee for the Coordination of Social Affairs adopted a decision to establish a "Concern Committee for the Employment of Non-Resident Workers" (hereinafter referred to as the "Concern Committee") on July 22nd, 2010.
The Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr. Lei Wai Nong, has appointed the following persons as members of the "Concern Committee" for the new term:
Government representatives:
- Deputy-Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau
Mr. Chan Chon U
- Head of the Non-resident Workers Employment Department of the Labour Affairs Bureau
Ms. Lam Sau Heong
Employer representatives:
- Committee Member of Board of Directors of the Macao Chamber of Commerce
Mr. Lee Koi Ian
- Committee Member of Board of Directors of the Macao Chamber of Commerce
Ms. Wu Xueqi
Employee representatives:
- Supervisor of the General Association of Macau Clerical Employees
Mr. Si Tong Leong
- Vice Supervisor for General services of Macao Gaming Enterprises Staff's Association
Ms. Tam Si Wan
The above appointment shall have a one-year term starting from September 27th, 2024. Mr. Chan Chon U, Deputy-Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau, will also be the convener of the "Concern Committee".
